The eight secrets of success

This speech, delivered by Ricahard St John, speak about the eight secrets of success according to him after several investigations and surveys.

In the first, the  most important is work with pleasure and passion. To success, we don't think of money even if a lot of people work and choose a job in terms of the salary. However, it's obvious that the money is important to survive, to feed and to have a roof . But, in this speech, we can understand the people have to give prority to the pleasure and the money will come after.
The second tip is work more harder: a person who wants success has to work everytime. Our project's realization depend of our goodwill and the people musn't trust to luck.
Next, we can say the concentration is very important too: we should focus on one thing at time.
Fourthly, the people have to involve: to success in an estate or in a subject, the main thing is "practice" all the time. With training, we can make the grade.
Moreover, according to David Gallo, a marine scientist interviewed by Richard St John to realize his work, the people have to push themselves (physically and mentally). We have to get over with the shyness and the personal doubts: all the people can realize their project, it isn't a question of intelligence.
An other recommandation is "serve the people" that is to say serve others with something of value, it's a good mean to become a millionar.
The eighth piece of advice is to be creative in other words have ideas. We have to be attentive, curious, have a keen eye in order to create.
And to finish, the last is the perseverance which is the chief reason of the success in front of any situation.

According to my point of view, I think the most important is the passion and pleasure. Nowdays, a lot of people work only to earn money because the cost of living is very stiff and some of us are forced to find a job even if it doesn't correspond to our waitings. But, if we have the choice it's better to take pleasure in our activities.
For example, I want become an educator for the young children who have difficulties. According to the sector, I know the salary isn't substantial But I like this job: I like help and find solution when they have problems. I couldn't work like a manager or  work in the world of the business. For me, these jobs are boring but it's true the salary is more important.
And I thinh it's more easy to wake up the morninf if we like our job: it isn't a constraint and we can be pround of us when we succeed our plans.

Drawing upon humor for a change

In this speech, Liza Donnelly expresses her point of view concerning the role and the place of the women in the world.
According to Liza Donnelly, between 1950 and 1960, from the childhood, the women was supposed to be gentle, wise and had to respect the rules instaured by the traditions and the culture (concerning the clothes, the behaviour...).
But, thanks to this position and situation, where the women are the principal victims, we can say they have an important influence because they know very well the conditions and the heritage of these traditions. For Liza Donnelly, the women are the only who can have the potencial to bring change using for example the humour. Indeed, the humor is a mean to enter upon the reality with lightness in order to propose a thought about this subject.
I think it's important to shade theirs words. The change depends to the countries and the societies. In the countries more developed, the women can express their point of view ans speak freely but there are still countries which are more oppressive and the womens don't have the freedom of expression.
Consequently, we can say the situation is the same in each society: all the women are educated with rules and traditons which are perpetuated from generation to generation. However, the situation can change in terms of the mentality.
At last, in this video, Liza Donnelly affirms the fact that the sense of the humor changes according to the culture: I'm agree with this argument. Each country has his language with his references, his conventions and his code. Thereby, all the countries haven't got the same representation of the world because we know each language holds a particular woldview. Therefore,  the subjects and others things which could be funny are very different. For example, in France we have a lot of jokes about the politicians but in the dictatorships we can't find this type of jokes.

The conducted tour of Grenoble

Do you look for an agreable place where you can eat for a reasonable price?  I've got the solution.
You can go to the restaurant "L'Escale": the owners are very friendly and the cooking is succulent if you like the savoyard specialities. The cook propose a lot of dishes cooked with cheese like the traditional squeegee or the gratin of potatoes with a little white vine and cheese: it's a delight. But, for the people who are more carnivorous you can choose a stone grill with some meat or fish.
This restaurant is situated near to the park of the centre.
However, there are many restaurants in Grenoble and each has her speciality (japonese restaurant, pizzeria..) but this it's my favorite.

If you want have a drink with your friends for the evening, you have the possibility to go in a bar which is very busy and called the "Tors Boyaux". Most of time, this bar is very crowded and it's the reason why it's important to come early. In this place, you can taste wine which is flavoured with different fruits.

If you want walk (after a meal with many calories) you can go to the "Bastille" and at the top, this place permit to overhang the town but we can't say the landscape is very nice because there are a lot of buldings and firms.

So, to conclude, there are many activities in Grenoble for the person who want make sport, relax, make shopping, have a drink between friends. We have an important choice concerning the restaurant but it depends of your likings.

            Hi Laura!

This trip in Cornwall was very great and before I didn't know this part of England, but for me it's like a corner of paradise.

I liked these uncultivated landscapes and all the little paths which permit to go all over the valleys. You can thank your friends for their welcome: they are very friendly and we can say they are very good guides.

On the way, I laughed lonely when I read on a brochure which I had the fact that it's a lugar where they are a lot of retired people who went to pass their retirement. Do you think we had the correspondind profile? I joke.

For the next holidays, I wanted suggest you to come in France and in this way it will be my turn to organize activities, visits... Your friends can come with you if you want, it's not a problem.
Give me an answer and I hope it will be positive.

I miss you and thanks for everything. A lot ok kisses my Laura

Who are you? I am....

My name is Rachel and my nickname is Rachou. I'm twenty one years old and I study the linguistic in Grenoble (it's my third year). I've got a flat in Grenoble for the week but the weekend I come back with my parents and my boyfriend in Drome. Also I've got two brothers more olders than me so I'm the last of the children and we can say sometimes there are some advantages.

In Drome, I live in a little village which is called Soyans. My parents have got a house right in the middle of the country. There aren't many dwellings around.

Concerning my hobbies, I go horse-ridding since fourteen years and I've got two horses at home. Thereby, I can get on horse when I want during my holidays and my weekends. Moreover, I like running and walking when I've time to spare.

At last, we can say I'm a funny girl: I like play jokes on my friends and have a good time with them. I'm sociable and already I'm ready to help the people who are in difficulty. For me, the people have to look on the bright side of the life.
